Both of these amazing agencies are located right here in our community. \n\n\n\nShield NC is a two-month old agency working to prevent human trafficking that happens right here in Apex and Cary - funding will help to hire a detective for the Apex Police Department to track down child pornography crimes. Sadly\, the police department gets countless tips of this crime DAILY and is not able to keep up with investigations due to lack of funding to hire another detective. \n\nBrown Bag Ministry helps provide meals for the hungry by bagging up lunches and distributing throughout Wake and Durham counties. \n\n\n\nCome to the taproom from noon until 2pm on the last day of the charity drive -St. Paddy's Day- to help Brown Bag Ministry bag up lunches and to learn more about Shield NC. Meet Nicole Bernard\, founder of Shield NC\, as she will provide information about local anti-human trafficking initiatives and how you can help!
