The NC Department of Labor helps employers -- especially small businesses -- achieve a safe and healthful workplace for their employees. Their professional staff helps employers identify safety and health hazards by conducting a free onsite evaluation through the Safety and Health Consultation Program. They provide you with a confidential, comprehensive report of their findings and recommendations that are not share with other NC Department of Labor Bureaus.
