The Open for Business Small Business Speaker Series is presented by the Town of Apex, Apex Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Center at Wake Tech. The series will help connect Apex's small business community with business leaders and stakeholders to expand educational and professional development opportunities. This new series will help educate and prepare our current small businesses to be successful in our community.

Alexis and Leif Jenssen will be presenting on website and e-commerce for B2C. Alexis & Leif Jenssen, owners of the Bowerbird Agency, a family-owned digital creative agency located in downtown Apex. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, they now reside with their two children in the heart of downtown Apex, NC. Together, they bring over a decade of experience and a very unique skill set established from years of owning and operating award-winning retail and service-based businesses, holding high-level executive positions in the corporate industry and nonprofit sector. The Bowerbird Agency is born out of a passion for community and a love for entrepreneurial spirit.
