Single Mom's Luncheon

Statement of Ministry: New Horizons Fellowship, Apex NC seeks to help meet the survival, practical and spiritual needs of single moms in the Wake county community including, but not limited to, Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina. Regardless of how these women arrived at single-motherhood ? widowed, divorced, never-married, parenting grandchildren ? they are all welcome and will fit right in the care and support network at NHF Single Mom Ministry. The NHF Single Mom Ministry exists to foster help, hope and healing to each single mom while providing a safe environment for her children. In addition, NHF SMM will provide programming for single moms to promote self-sufficiency in parenting, finances, and health & wellness - while encouraging a deep abiding faith and hope in Christ the Lord. General Information: · Luncheon includes: diner, childcare; ice breakers; devotional/sharing time and a take home "treat" of some sort for all moms. · Examples of meeting extras from time to time may include: Leaning how to Coupon; Ask an Attorney: Do you need something Notarized, etc. · Upon arrival, moms drop children off with childcare providers where they can enjoy lunch, crafts and games. · Teens are welcome to have lunch and hang out in the NHF Youth Zone with adult volunteers. · All SMM meetings and events are FREE!
